New Screens from the new Kingdom Hearts games

New scans have been released showing the upcoming Kingdom Hearts games. The games have been speculated to come out later this year in Japan on the Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable and Mobile phones respectively. Three games are shown on the page. Screen shots include images of Axel as well as shots of Ven with Jaq the mouse from Cinderella.

The first game shown is called Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and is pronounced like a fraction, "over 2". The game is being published by Square Enix and follows with the other games in the series as an action role-playing game. KH: 358/2 will take place in between Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 2. This game will be available on the Nintendo DS.

The second game is called Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. This game will be set around the characters of Terra, Ven, and Aqua. This game is also an action RPG that is being developed by Sqaure Enix. Birth by Sleep will act as a prequel to the original Kingdom Hearts game. It is set 10 years before the original and will focus on the Keyblades. This game will be available on the PSP.

Finally there are images from Kingdom Hearts Coded. Unlike the other games, this one will be a puzzle game. There will also be "RPG style" features but no details have been confirmed. Coded takes place after Kingdom Hearts 2. It will be released on mobile phones.

None of the three games have been given a release date in Japan. There is also no confirmation that they will be released in the United States.

well it is Square Enix + Disney. i presume a new Nintendo portable device would be coming soon although i rather a new psp, i might go for new mobile games when i get a N96

hmm should i get Soul Caliber or get MK vs DC i presume one of u's are getting SC just have to wait for MKvsDC to come out

sorry, but as a total KH fanboy, i felt the need to clear that up.

But in contrast to xbigboss, i actually think it's a VERY good combo. i was really skeptical about it when the first Kingdom Hearts came out, but now i'm in love with the story.
can't wait for BBS. i think i might buy a DS just for 358/2 though.

 

Thanks Gamegirl..But this was already released a few days back, and now it has a translation.

You should also metion that 358/2 Days does have a release date, as "Coming 2008" according to an advertisement in the recent DQ game. And you should mention that you can play as Org. XIII, so people will know.

But beyond that, great article.

 

this it's pretty old... few days? it would be more like a few month ago.

 

I cant wait for the new KH games, i have been updated myself with news, you can check the translation that Zexion_VI_OrgXIII said on Kingdom Hearts Insider.com, i check that page really often for updates, i am so amazed. Square Enix FTW.
