Could Pokemon Gold and Silver be coming to the DS?

Nov. 19 7:50 PM by Nikole

A scan from a Japanese gaming magazine has surfaced on the internet. There is some serious speculation on whether or not the scan is legit, there is no confirmation that it is. However, since so many of us are die-hard optimists we will take it as seriously as possible none the less. The scan implies Pokemon Silver and Pokemon Gold are being re-made into Nintendo DS titles. Both games came out nearly a decade ago. Nintendo still has not assigned a release date for Pokemon Platinum, it came out in Japan in September and has become the highest selling DS game to date.

Every time i hear about Pokemon, i am surprised that people still buy/play it.

Bah - I still love Pokemon.
Cute little animals I capture and make fight for me - what's not to love.
I love when new Pokemon games come out - I spent way too much time doing the beauty pageants on Pearl.

I'm pretty sure those scans are fake...but the game is still a possibility...theres no way they wouldnt remake gold and silver

It's probably a re-do like fire red and leaf green were for the original red and blue versions.

If they are going to remake a pokemon game thats the one to do I guess... I just wish they would make a new one instead.

Hmmmm I could have sworn it was already confirmed that they would remake Silver & Gold, which excites the hell out of me!! Pokemon Silver was the first Pokemon game I made.

And Klasco, you wouldn't believe how many people still play Pokemon religiously. Lurke some Pokemon forums, people are constantly trading Pokemon and battling. There's even clans. =P

This is a fake scan that came out over a year ago. As much as I would love to see a remake of Gold and Silver, and there is hidden in-game data that supports Nintendo was considering it , I'm not sure it'll actually happen. Either way, I'm a little disappointed in GG for reporting old news and getting my hopes up.
