Where the F*%# is Hardcore?

Does anybody remember this awesome gametype that they created in Halo 2 where you spawned with this amazing weapon called a BATTLE RIFLE? Anybody?? WHAT.THE.FUCK. Happened to it?! I'm getting so sick of spawning with this stupid assault rifle in Halo 3. and NO I don't feel like running around fighting all the other retards on my team for a battle rifle. Just give it to me on spawn, damnit. I feel like megaman pew pew pewin like a down syndrome infected step child. I dunno what that means... but all I'm saying is: PLEASE. Bungie, bring back my freakin hardcore. Get your heads out of your asses and give it to me. Thank you :)

1ST!!!. . .lol. . .my fav weapon was da shotgun from halo1 . . .i think it got seriously downpowered in halo2 & 3. . .same thing w/ da handgun(my second favf). . .that thingn could take out a banshee w/ a few shots. . .& hunters w/ 1 shot. . . i love those. . .

I don't like the battle rifle as much as the AA(don't hurt me).

 

If I could have what I REALLY want, it would be the Halo ONE pistol and for it to have the same effect as it did in halo one.

 

I HATE the AA with a passion. During the beta I liked it but god damn I am so tired of spawning with it in MM its pretty much useless. Because of the AA I have been play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Team lol good job Bungie!! Give us a BR start NOW!

 

ATLEAST give us a snipers gametype or SOMETHING to work with. Goddamnit >.<

 

I know..and the snipers and shotties game type most definitely doesn't count because the shotgun doesn't do shit worth of damage when its long range.

screw the Battle rifle. Assault rifle all the way. I dont like using scoped guns, even on Vahalla. Besides on like 90 percent of the maps are too small for effective sniping IMO. The AA is one of the best guns in the game.

I second the pistol from Halo 1. But I would rather have a banshee ready for me at all times.

I'm more of a close range guy anyway so it doesn't matter to me at all, I just make do with what I have and usually end up taking it real bad in the end.

 

If you like AA over BR... then you're a nub who just likes to melee everytime cuz you don't know how to aim with a BR. Banshee's or vehicles are for nubs too. I fucking hate kids who just jump into a vehicle like a little pussy fart and start running everyone over. Learn how to use a weapon. and yes... Nikole, that's another thing that ANNOYED THE FUCK OUT OF ME. In Campaign... if you're the arbiter.... you're basically fucked. although I like the carbine in MM, I don't like it as much in campaign. and plasma rifles don't do jack shit on Legendary

 

veicles area cheap way to kill someone. occasionally i like to stciky grendade someone one of the was pure crazieness!

 

I like the assault rifle, but I see what you mean about spawning with it every game. A little variety would be nice. I do have to disagree with you about vehicles though. I love using vehicles, and do quite well with them. If you don't like it, go get a missile pod or something.

I really love my battlerifle... but when you go through the game on legendary by yourself, you really need to be able to hold your own with pretty much any weapon against anything... i hat starting out with somthing i cant use any kind of precision with... specially when i have guys with fuelrod guns aimed at me... they track people for whatever reason... anyway.. BR FTW!!!

I dont have a problem spawning with the Assault Rifle, though the Battle Rifle is clearly superior.

 

And yes, there should be a ranked playlist called, TEAM HARDCORE and please Bungie, for the love of gosh, bring back TEAM SNIPERS!!

 

Am I the only one who loves the rapid fire, non0burst Assault Rifle? And realizes that it is merely a transition weapon until I get my hands on my beautiful Brute Mauler? Ah...the Mauler. Now that's something to to put a thumbs up to. Dare I say two.

 

I totally agree on the BR spawn. I am an absolute BEAST when i have that weapon in my hands. For close range the AR sure is handy though.

Personally, I love the Assault Rifle; brings back oh-so-sweet memories of the first Halo, mowing down swarms of grunts. Which is fine in the single player missions. But in multiplayer? It's the first to go in my arsenal.
