Have You Reserved Your Copy of Assassin's Creed??

Speaking as a Gamestop employee... I highly recommend that if you plan on getting this game, that you go and reserve it ASAP. Not only should you reserve it to make sure you get your copy of it the day it comes out but also because you get a free artbook upon purchase - and from the looks of this game... a free artbook on it seems pretty badass. If you haven't yet looked up anything on this game, I highly recommend you do. The graphics and the pure epicness of this game give me a monstrous e-boner every time I see anything on it. Watch this chic talk about the demo of this game:

Like she says, everything in the game seems to be completely interactive, which is one thing I love to see in games. There's no set path and there isn't just one way to get somewhere. You have complete freedom in your gameplay and you have endless options. Hopefully this game will impress as much as it's hyped up to be, because so far, it looks like it could very well become game of the year... ...In my book atleast.
Here's my favorites of the many trailers to this game. :)

Assassin's Creed - The best home videos are here
Have a boner yet?? Then go reserve it :) Not only does it require just 5 dollars down, but that 5 dollars goes straight towards the game. (and also helps out your local gamestop employee's numbers) :)
If you'd rather be a vagina about it and not reserve it, the game comes out on November 13th :)

holy fuckign shit those trailers were fucking awsome lol! And yes i have definitly reserved a copy at EB games

The game looks great but the controls have me worried.

Surprisingly enough, the words "boner" and "Assassin's Creed" go together just as well as cake and ice cream.

what do u mean an artbook?. . .when i reserve it? . . .if so, i'll go reserve mine now. . .i love art books on games w/ awosome graphics. ..

If you reserve it, you get a free artbook the day it comes out. So if you plan on buying it anyways... may as well get something free out of it right?

The controls have me a bit worried too. But if it can feel intuitive while being as expansive as all of the previews claim, this could easily become one of the best games of the year. I especially like the way combat is more defensive and realistic, as well as the whole climbing on the sides of buildings thing.
Personally, I'm looking forward just as much, if not more, to Mass Effect. I really like the way every decision, beginning at the character creation screen, effects the storyline, how NPCs react to you, what missions you're allowed to pursue, etc. I'm a big fan of what Bioware did in KOTOR and Jade Empire, and this just seems so much deeper and bigger. It just seems like the closest thing to experiencing a sci-fi epic without starring in a Hollywood blockbuster or TV serial. Also, real-time 3rd person shooting in an RPG is pretty much made of win.
Wow, that was longer than I planned. ;o
but uh, yeah. I'm probably gonna pre-order Assassin's Creed soon, if I can't get someone to buy it for my birthday. ;p

LOL! Someone's been on XBL for too long.

This, Mass effect, Cod4, and Uncharted are the games I looking forward to the most right now. I don't reserve games because I'm never sure when I'll actually have the money to get them, but right now this is one of the games I'm planning on getting.

The game looks pretty cool.. too bad I don't have a 360 or PS3.. but Fire Pro Wrestling Returns comes out on November 13th as well. I'm all man so I'm gonna get that game.

as a die hard MGS fan, I'd love to see if this gives the stealth action genre a complete overhaul.

I'd say sign me up, but I'm still undecided on what platform to put my dollars behind. I gotta play MGS4, so I'm thinking PS3. But if the multiplatform games are going to be better on Xbox, might have to change that plan...(did I mention that I hate micro$haft with a passion?).

I first saw a thing about the game a few months back. I had heard nothing for a few months from people so I thought this game may go over looked but in the past 3 months people have went crazy over it.

What's going on with the controls? I haven't looked anything up on it yet.

as long as the controls aren't as bad as like... Ninja Gaiden, then I'm good.

Well, if I read it correctly, it seems that your limbs are controlled by the face buttons. Something like.. Y controls your head, X your left arm, B your right arm, and A your legs? Something bizarre like that. It's context sensitive or something, so I guess it just performs what would be the ideal action in your specific situation, rather than say, always jumping, or always swinging your sword.
It's been awhile since I've read a preview, so I may be recalling it incorrectly. But yeah, it's weird.

What the hell? That seems way over complicated.
When I heard the voice acting in the E3 trailer I was disappointed.

But I don't have a 360 so what do I know, it may play great, although bland color schemes and a re-hash of prince of persia game play.

Overly negative gamer.

Ah Jade Raymond...She's grown up since her days on the Electric Playground. Now she's making games!

Well...I'm not too sure about putting up the money to own this one yet. I'm always a bit skeptical about new IPs. This one might just be the ticket though...

I'll give it a rental and then...maybe get it. Personally, I like being a vagina about things.

Wow... the controls do sound weird as fuck. hopefully you'll have the option to change things or something... ewe

Nov.14 is not comming quick enough....This game looks Sick.

I preordered at Wal Mart.com

No reason to pre order anything when you own a PS3.
