At the top of this site one can see all the sister sites of gamegirl.com and IDG family. One such site is SucksorRules.com. Sounds spectacular. While checking the old myspace tonight I noticed that there was an add for SucksorRules.com. The add prompted me to wonder, Jesus: Sucks or Rules????

Wow, what a totally valid question! So ladies and gents, I ask you, does Jesus suck or rule!!!!????

Well you have to put aside whether he exists for the moment. Lets assume he does esict and all the stories about him are real.

Well in the riles column we have: turning water to alchohol, bringning people back to life, lived hard and dying young, walking on water, turns 3 fish and a loaf of bread into a buffet.

In the sux column we have: Washes other peoples feet, comes back to life but does not eat brains, Makes people give up their worldly possesions, makes me feel bad about myself.

Well I guess its plain to see this unkillable drunk bastard rules.

 

Little linguistics lesson. The name Jesus comes from the Latin Jesu or Iesu. Iesu is the Latin version of the Greek Ieshu, since Latin doesn't have an sh sound. Ieshu is the Greek version of the Hebrew name Yeshua, or Yehoshua (meaning God is salvation), changed because names in Greek that end in A are always female. Yeshua, of course, is our source for the name Joshua.

So Jesus, symbol of authoritarian religion, source of division, in whose name so many bad things have been done, sux the big one.

Jesus, from a historical standpoint, seemed to be a good enough guy, but i don't think i'd be following him around.
