VACATION TIME!!

So for those of you that aren't on my Myspace I announced that I was going to be leaving to go to Texas to spend a week with my best friend (and MAJOR gamer) Krystal. So my blog for the next couple days will be about my adventures with her as we spend out 21st birthdays together.

So here is Day 1 of Calamity's Chronicles!!!

So I got up at 9 am this morning to finish packing whatever tidbits I had forgotten to pack in my bag the previous night. After getting all that exciting stuff done (and making sure that I haven't forgotten any of my gaming stuff--gotta stay entertained while on the plane.) me and my boyfriend made the wonderful 15 minute journey to the airport. Security, for once, was a breeze to get through ---mainly because its a regional airport and not the International ones :] --- then the fun part of waiting to board. Which didn't take long, but man what a small plane!!

After that I headed to Dallas/Fort Worth (this is where I had to do A LOT of walking) and I think the Airlines were having fun with us because every 10-15 minutes they announced that our flight was changed to a different gate...then they changed the size of the plane from a big one to a small one...and this is where the issues began..after the enjoyment of watching people get mad about this and that we were able to finally board the plane. Now through out this whole thing I forgot to mention one MAJOR issue...I absolutely HATE flying..like I would rather drive anywhere than fly. But I FINALLY made it to my best friends house and man her house is HUGE. Especially her bedroom, I LOVE it!

Anyway...so far all we did today was go to eat at Apple Bee's--Shrimp Pasta yummm---and we went and bought her brother a new TV---Samsung woot woot--and now we have just been watching Dawn of the Dead and Independence Day. Tomorrow is her 21st birthday so I will be posting alot of pics!!!
