The ESRB rating system designed to help rate video games in a manor to show whom the game is age appropriate for. So why do so many people ignore this. I see so many people buy M rated games for children, even as young as 4. Then when something goes wrong it's the video games fault.
Hello there! Forgive me for the lack of notes to my parents, they've been on a long summer vacation cruise... Without me! And whilst they've been basking on beautiful beaches, and dining on the finest cuisine... I've been slaving away at my current job, cleaning house, walking dogs, and looking for a NEW job for when school starts up in a few weeks...
Seeing as I haven't used my resume in three years, I figured it was time for an update. I was writing it up very professionally, until I got to "Skills"... I sat there staring at the blank space for a while, not really sure what kind of skills I had that would pertain to the job I was applying for, or what appropriate words I could use. Absolutely bored to tears, I found myself typing in "Pwning Noobs", and like the dork that I am; I laughed at myself for doing something so lame. Then it hit me! ... Type up your whole resume gamer style! Let the real me shine through! Company's like honest employees, why should I cover up the gamer in me?

After trying Socom: U.S. Navy Seals, I'd never since bothered picking up another FPS game on the console. My brain couldn't handle inverted controls, and no, I had no idea I had the option to change them (NOOB, I know). I had no patience for figuring it all out either. I think I spent a total of 30 minutes playing, and ditched it just like that, and up until last Thursday I stuck my nose up high in the air at pretty much any console game with guns involved, and happily stuck with gun-toting pwnage on my computer...
Now to make my experience sound way cooler, and less boring; I've made it into story form:

I'm constantly asked what's in the collector's edition of games. Of course they all come with the game, but here is a look at some upcoming games and the special stuff you'll receive for buying the collector's editions. Not all have pictures, but I found a few.
Smoking. Drugs. Alcohol. These are just a few things people get addicted to. The user feels they can't live without their addiction. They are constantly looking to get their next fix. Then it dawned on me. I have an addiction. But mine isn't alcohol, smoking, or drugs. My addiction is video games.
Being around many gamers, I have noticed that each gamer has their own little obsession. From faceplates, to gaming collectables, or even the gamerscore, every gamer is different.
I don't know about all girl gamers, but I receive comments all the time about how I do not represent the Girl Gamer population correctly. They base this comment on the fact that I prefer to play FPS or Racing games rather than the Imagine, Petz series, or other games generated to push towards girls.
Can you believe I almost forgot about this segment!? Totally unacceptable, I know! For those that are unsure of what these fabulous awards are; Let me briefly explain... I have made The Femme Awards to recognize, and give props to anything that's floating around the pop/gaming culture! Anything that has long ago or recently grabbed my attention on the internet is eligible for an award. My last award ceremony had best YouTube video, best member, worst cosplay, best marvel char, and best song to game to!
