"We officially passed final cert on our first try Friday, August 15th," said 3D Realms' George Broussard . When asked about a possible price point, he noted that it will be "about what you'd expect."
Duke Nukem 3D for the XBLA is the original game that released on the PC and it looks as though this trip down memory lanes will run you between 10 and 15 bucks. One could speculate that the release of Duke Nukem 3D for XBLA is a strategic release in order to sate the appetites of Duke Nukem fans awaiting the much anticipated upcoming title, Duke Nukem Forever.

While browsing MSN this morning at work I was greeted by one man's opinion that the famed mustachioed plumber should make a bee-line for early retirement. The man: Patrick Goss, tech columnist. Admittingly I clicked the link to his article with apprehension, boarding on a fervor to instantly email him defending my long time gaming icon. But as I read i saw the point he was making, and that's where you and I are now, about to discuss it.

"As you know, in fashion, one day you are in and one day you are out."
Any reality television junkie will recognize the line from Heidi Klum's Project Runway. For those who don't, no worries, you get the point. Well, according to the September issue of People's Style Watch, Girl Gamers are in, at least for now.

Given the amount of ill informed threads flying about on gamepro.com's forums in regards to the ultimate question of "what should I buy for x, y, and z purposes" I decided to make a guide. So pop a ritalin and listen up because I am about to give you a caveat emptor and try to save your allowance in the process.
Here are some common questions/scenarios I've read as of late on the pc board, as well as my advice for each:
In case you missed it because you live under a rock (or are currently being jerked around by your ISP like myself) a new download pack became available for both the ps3 and 360 last week: three new DragonForce songs for Guitar Hero 3! The pack features Heroes Of Our Time, the first single from the new album Ultra Beatdown as well as two songs from Inhuman Rampage: Operation Ground and Pound and Revolution Deathsquad.
That's right ladies and gents, for just under 7 bucks you too can relive the epic wanker's cramp that came with mastering the first DragonForce song, Through the Fire and the Flames, (as if I needed to name it). UNFORTUNATELY, these tracks will NOT be compatible with Guitar Hero: World Tour, a move that has probably crippled the number of sales they could've had from this download pack.
As expected, DragonForce's sales have increased after appearing in the game, digital sales of the song increased from 2,000 to 10,000 per week and sales of the album it appears in, Inhuman Rage, increased by 126%.
In any case, I'm sure we can expect some insane youtube videos in the near future.

Are you a member of FilePlanet and looking forward to the next MMORPG, Warhammer Online? Wait no more! Now FilePlanet members can access the open beta by simply following this link here to the FilePlanet download of the beta client.
It would appear that the pre order customers can also download the client by verifying the beta key, a reward for pre ordering.
If you are not a FilePlanet member and still wish to access the open beta, you can still gain access through signing up with FilePlanet now. Except those of us in Europe... or Asia.... no open beta for us!
What are you still doing here? Go play!
God of War and PS3 fans alike are geeked at the trailer of the latest installment of the series set to be released in March 2009 (according to most recent reports). With more than 6 months to go before the release, the YouTube hits alone on the trailers for the game have been extremely popular for the last few weeks.

Kotaku has discovered a back to school ad that leaves many people guessing. The ad depicts a young man playing Metal Gear Solid 4 while using an Xbox 360 controller. Either this is going to be the surprise of the year or Sears messed up big time. How could not one person on the set of this shoot know anything about the exclusivity of MGS4? Was it pure stupidity or could there be something more to it?
Hint: It was pure stupidity
